Plain Folk: What it is
Plain folk propaganda is a type of propaganda in which someone is presented as an "every day person" or an "average Joe" or with an everyday person representing a topic, whether it be for a war or a a consumer commercial. This propaganda type is used to win confidence with those who see it.
Plain folk propaganda wasn't used until around 1942 in Germany, however it was used earlier in other countries.
Plain folk propaganda was used by Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels to promote the war and to get more men to join the armed forces and the Hitler youth.
